Well. he promised he'd change and maybe he even tried but it didn't last. He'll always be jealous that I love my children and although I warned him that if he attempted to separate them from me he would only succeed in making me drift further away from him. That is what has happened. He has killed off my love for him but now that he is old and ill I can't really throw him out!
