I was staying on the 7th floor of the Drury Lane Moat House in London when the storm struck at 1.15 am. We had just finished a meal, and all was quiet at 12.45am. The wheelie bins were flying round my window !! Hyde Park corner looked like a bomb had hit it! All those trees down and I get squashed 13 years later !
