I have to admit that although I know it's wrong I give in when any of the cats comes to ask for food at mealtimes. Parsley likes to 'help' me cook so she has to go into another room if I'm preparing for guests. I suppose it's not very hygienic but I don't push her out when I cook for the family - just encourage her to eat a titbit on the floor. Of course Chad has to sleep on your bed. Our cats would be highly indignant if they couldn't come in or on our bed whenever they felt like it.
