I'm sorry to hear that Sandy, I hope Bear recovers OK. What a thing to happen at this time, what with your birthday and Christmas coming. I just hope that you have the strength to carry on.
This is the one thing that I dread happening to me. At least Bear has you there at times like this. I live alone between neighbours who don't give a damn about me, and the people opposite are the same. I often wonder what would happen if I was taken ill in the night and couldn't reach the phone. The only person who keeps in touch at least once a week is my step-daughter in the Dordogne, but she is 750 miles away so she can't come and see me! I don't know the neighbours surnames even, or their phone numbers because they choose to ignore me all the time,so even if I could reach the phone I would have to dial 999.
I hope that you are not getting too depressed, and things will be sorted before too long. I had a word with the fairies, but they said the this post was too serious to post funny pictures on it this time.
