Funny you should mention "passports", I'm having trouble getting my renewed passport delivered, and at present I'm trying to negotiate with Securemail.com as to when I will get it! The Passport Office were great. The turnaround time was only a couple of days, but the passports have to be delivered by a security firm who demand that the person to whom it is addressed should sign for it. Trouble is they keep trying to deliver it when I'm shopping, in the bathroom or still in bed! They ring the doorbell once, wait about three seconds then piss off! I was hoping my passport (and the fairies visas) would arrive in time for me to spend Christmas with my daughter in France, but it doesn't look very likely now. I received an email this morning saying that because they couldn't get a response here (I live alone) they are returning my passport to the Passport Office!
