In our little town most of us don't even know the present Mayors name, or where he lives! I know we have one, because it was mentioned in the pub. The Parish Council meet regularly, but it is very difficult to find out what transpires at the meetings. The local library used to put the minutes on the notice board, but that and all the posters about local events have now disappeared because the Library Committee said they were untidy and "not conducive to the new image of the library" ! The only notices displayed now are Police warnings about anti-social behaviour, speeding and drink-driving etc. If Zoe ever wants a Twat replacement, we have a village full of them.....
